What Is Safe Pass Training?
Safe Pass Training is mandatory for all workers on Irish building sites, according to the Irish Law (Safety, Health And Welfare At Work Construction Regulations 2013).
We provide the highest standard Safe Pass Training in Ireland from our location in Dubln. Please review the list of currently available courses above and click on the one that suits you best. You will then be taken to the booking screen where you can sign up for the Safe Pass Training Course.
How does the training work?
Duration
The Safe Pass course takes 1 day to complete, on-site at our training facility. On completion of the Safe Pass training, you will receive a certificate of attendance, which can be given to your employers until the actual Safe Pass card has been issued to you.
Location
The Safe Pass course takes place at our training facility in North County Dublin, adjacent to the National Acquatic Centre, Blanchardstown and easily accessible via the M3 / M50.

What Is Safe Pass?
It is a one-day safety awareness programme that applies to all people who work in Construction. It maintains the standard of safety awareness in the industry, and ensures there is a record of people who have received training.
Do I need Safe Pass training for my job?
Possession of a Safe Pass is required for General Construction Workers, Working Chargehands, On-site Security Workers, Contractors Drivers On-site, Delivery Drivers On-site e.g. Concrete Trucks, Craft Workers, Apprentices, Students on Site Work Placement in the relevant areas. In addition, any local authority workers will also require a Safe Pass to be on-site.
Why do I need to attend Safe Pass training?
Irish workplace law requires that if you are involved in the construction industry, you must have a Safe Pass qualification before being allowed to take up a job. The Safe Pass Programme is designed to make workers aware of the potental dangers on construction sites, and how to act accordingly in relation to these dangers for their own safety, and the safety of co-workers.
Who Pays?
Generally the worker pays for the course. Employers are mandated by law to allow employee time off from their duties for awareness training as may be reasonable without loss of remuneration (Sections 10, 25, 26 of Safety, Health & Welfare At Work Act, 2005).
